[origin: WO2006066535A1] The invention relates to an anti-pinch device for vehicles, comprising at least two sensor arrays (16, 16n, 17, 17n) for detecting a danger of pinching by at least one vehicle part (10, 10a, 10b) which can be adjusted by means of at least one drive device (12, 13, 14, 14a, 14b) and for emitting pinching danger signals to a common evaluation device (18) that is associated with both sensor arrays. Said evaluation device (18) is adapted to switch the drive device, via a drive control (15), to an anti-pinch operating mode when the pinching danger signals of the two sensor arrays differ from each other by a predetermined minimum value.
