Said receiving bore (3) comprises a first shoulder area (18). A second shoulder area (16) of the valve housing (14), which is located at the discharge end and represents the counterpart to the first shoulder area (18) of the receiving bore (3), is shaped such that a positive connection is created between the shoulder area (18) of the receiving bore (3) in the cylinder head (4) and the shoulder area (16) of the valve housing (14) located at the discharge end. The shoulder areas (16, 18) define a support area (24) which represents a second-order hypersurface in three-dimensional space.
