Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006061360A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a winding conductor (6a) for electrical appliances, whereby at least one thermoplastic insulating layer (60) is arranged, by means of an extrusion method, on an enamelled wire (2) which is pre-insulated with a functional insulation (22), and whereby each thermoplastic insulating layer (60) consists exclusively of a high-temperature thermoplastic material. The invention also relates to a winding conductor produced according to said method. The use of a high-temperature thermoplastic material as an insulating layer enables winding conductors for the thermal categories H and F to be economically produced by means of an extrusion method.
