[origin: WO2006067101A1] A laser source comprises: N incident laser beams, N being equal to at least two; N spatial monomode propagation media of a beam, each forming a propagation path (g<SUB>i</SUB>) of a laser beam; a coherent recombination system at the output of the N paths for furnishing an output recombined laser (f<SUB>R</SUB>), and; a phase control device (D) comprising N programmable closed loop servo phase changing elements (d<SUB>i</SUB>), one at the input of each path (g<SUB>i</SUB>). The source also comprises a polarization control device (P) having N programmable closed loop servo polarization controllers (p<SUB>i</SUB>), one per path, and each controller being placed between the associated phase changing element and the associated path.
