Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1829461A2] A rectangular base in the shape of a truncated cone and with a central rectangular recess is screwed to the lower surface of the tabletop (1). A second part with a central recess for the accommodation of the upper end of the leg (2) is swivel mounted to one side of the base and additionally connected with two holding arms. When a lever at the base is lifted against the forces of a spring a locking mechanism is released. The unit (5) is made of a rigid plastic.
