Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006067229A1] A vessel, particularly an urn, made of a biodegradable material, comprising a body and a lid, wherein the outer upper edge of the body of the vessel is embodied in an essentially conically tapered manner towards the top and the inner lower edge of the lid corresponding thereto is embodied in an essentially enlarged manner towards the bottom, such that a substantially interlocking, preferably ash-tight, connection is ensured between the body of the vessel and the lid, wherein the body of the vessel comprises at least one substantially peripheral groove and the cover comprises at least two ridges, wherein, the ridges engage with the groove when the vessel is in a closed state such that it is no longer possible to open the vessel without causing destruction and wherein the biodegradable material is a starch-free injection moldable material which essentially contains wood fibers and natural fibers and wood powder and binding agents, preferably lignin.

[origin: WO2006067229A1] The vessel, made of a biodegradable material, comprises of a body and a lid (20) wherein the outer upper edge (50) of the vessel body is embodied in an essentially conically tapered manner towards the top and the inner lower edge of the lid is embodied in an enlarged manner towards the bottom (11). The ash-tight connection is ensured between the vessel body and the lid. The body of the vessel comprises at least one substantially peripheral groove and the lid comprises at least two ridges. The ridges engage with the groove when the vessel is in a closed state such that it is no longer possible to open the vessel without causing destruction. The biodegradable material is a starch-free injection moldable material which contains wood fibers, natural fibers, wood powder and binding agents, preferably lignin.
