[origin: WO2006067342A2] The invention concerns an air intake duct arrangement for an internal combustion engine whereof the cylinder head (4, 10) is fixed on the body shell of a motor vehicle via a damping element, said cylinder head (4, 10) being closed by a set of timing gear cases (1, 13, 15), and said intake duct consisting of an intermediate portion (19) connected to an upstream portion (12) connected to a heat exchanger (11) and to a downstream portion (12) supplying air towards an intake manifold (16), said upstream (12) and downstream (2) portions being provided with fixing means designed to co-operate with the intermediate portion (19), characterized in that the intermediate portion (19) is integrated in the timing gear case (13) of the engine.
