[origin: WO2006066827A1] Disclosed is a dry running swashplate compressor, especially for producing compressed air in utility vehicles, comprising a swashplate (2) that is fastened to a drive shaft (1) and converts the driving rotary movement into an oscillating lifting movement via a bearing arrangement (3) which cooperates with the radially exterior edge region, said lifting movement redirecting a piston rod (4) that is mounted on the bearing arrangement (3) to pistons (5) which run in an associated cylinder (6) in order to produce the compressed air. The swashplate (2) is provided with an additional coating (12) at least in the contact zone with the bearing arrangement (3) so as to reduce sliding friction.
