Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006066828A1] Disclosed is a piston-cylinder arrangement for a reciprocating compressor, especially a swashplate compressor, comprising a light metal piston (2) which is axially movable within a cylinder (1) and the face of which is fixed to a piston rod (6) via at least one fastening screw (5) that extends through a through-bore (4) of the piston (2) in the direction of travel of the piston. The inventive piston-cylinder arrangement is characterized in that the through-bore (4) of the piston (2) is provided with a recess while a fastening bush (7) encompassing an annular bottom section (12) and an adjacent hollow cylinder-type wall section (13) is provided. Said fastening bush (7) protrudes into the recess of the through-bore (4) in order to accommodate the head of the fastening screw (5) while resting against the adjacent piston area (9) via a radially outward extending peripheral section (14) which adjoins the wall section (13) of the fastening bush (7).
