Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006074677A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for signaling acceptance of a request for a procedure between a terminal (MS) and at least one element of a serving communication network (SGSN, MSC). According to the invention, the element of a serving communication network (SGSN, MSC) requests at least one piece of service profile information from an element of the home communication network of the terminal (HLR, AuC) when the terminal (MS) makes a request for a procedure to the element of the serving communication network (SGSN, MSC). When the at least one piece of service profile information is not received or is received only in part, the element of the serving communication network (SGSN, MSC) transmits at least one signaling message to the terminal (MS), said signaling message being configured such that no additional signaling messages regarding the procedure are received from the terminal (MS).
