[origin: EP1832544A2] The C-hook has a side piece (2), at which a hanging device (3) is provided with counter weights (8) and an axially displaceable adjustment drive (9). The adjustment drive (9) has a side piece (6) for accommodating circular loads. A safety tappet (16) is provided at the side piece (6). An adjustment drive (17) is connected with the adjustment drive (9) by using an intermediate transmission, such that a movement of the safety tappet for securing the load causes an aligned movement of the hanging device with the counter weights.
