Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006056699A1] The invention relates to an applicator/packaging (1) for mascara (M), comprising a container (5, 6) with an axis (X'X) and wall (6), defining an interior space, the upper part (6b) of the wall (6) being rigid and the lower part (6a) of the wall (6) being flexible and able to be moved from an expanded position into a closed position, temporary closure means (2,3a) for said container (5, 6), a head (4), mounted on a pin (3b), fixed to the closure means (2,3a) and coming into contact with mascara (M), in the closed position. The volume of the lower part (6a) represents 15 % to 60 % of the total volume defined by the wall (6). Alternatively, the packaging and application unit (1) is embodied such that the head (4) is largely opposite said rigid part (6b), perpendicular with relation to (X'X). The above is of application to make-up.
