[origin: WO2006069772A1] The invention relates to a pumping station for the transport of liquids, comprising a drain. According to the invention, a build-up of a sediment layer in the pumping station may be prevented, whereby a multi-way valve (14) is connected to the pump (6), comprising outlets (18, 22) for at least one flush line (20) and at least one drain (8) and a slide (16), mounted to be displaced between two operating positions, is mounted in the multi-way valve (14), which, in the first operating position, prevents the return of liquids from the drain (8) in the direction of the pump (6) and, in a second operating position, prevents the flow of liquids into the flushing line (20).
