Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006069559A1] The invention relates to a motor vehicle windowpane which is made of a plastic material, used for closing the opening of the motor vehicle and is displaceable therein by means of a window lifter. Said window pane comprises a window element surrounded by an external edge and a device provided on the window element for coupling the window pane to the window adjusting mechanism of the window lifter. According to said invention, a guiding area (16, 17; 18, 19) is formed on the surface (O2) of the window element (10) for coupling the window pane (1) to the adjusting mechanism (42, 43, 44) of the window lifter (4), makes it possible to bring into contact the window pane (1) with guiding means (46, 47; 48, 49) of the adjusting mechanism (42, 43, 44) in such a way that it is enabled to slide in a displacement direction (z) and forms stops (17a, 17b, 18a) which prevent the window pane (1) of pivoting about an axis (y) perpendicular to the plane thereof when said stops are supported by the associated stops (47a, 47b, 48a) of the guiding means (44).
