Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1834736A1] The device has a spindle (10) cooperating with an electromotor and a support (12) for a tool support. A percussion mechanism (24) axially displaces the spindle in a percussion mode, and has a slide switch displaced in a radial direction. A switch ring (44) disposed on the spindle has cam configurations (46, 48) on both end faces. The ring is structured for turning to bring the cam configuration (46) into engagement with a radial cam (28) and the cam configuration (48) into engagement with a cam (32), where the ring is turned from a rotary position into a percussion position.
