Abstract (en)
Wood splitter (1) has splitting tool (3) which is adjustable. An intake recess (15) of a guide housing (2) of a support (8) for the long splitting material is adjustable perpendicular to the support. The splitting tool is at a side of intake recess. The projecting portion of the splitting article is split by adjustable stroke of the splitting tool. The splitting article is placed longitudinally in the intake recess of the support.

Bei einem Holzspalter (1) mit einem mit in einem Führungsgehäuse (2) gehaltenen hydraulisch betätigten Spaltwerkzeug (3) ist das Spaltwerkzeug (3) von der einen Seite her über eine Aufnahmevertiefung (15) eines an das Führungsgehäuse (2) anschließenden Auflagers (8) für das insbesondere aus Langgut bestehenden Spaltgut im wesentlichen quer zu letzterem verstellbar, wobei es vom aufgelegten Spaltgut von dessen Längsseite her einen aus der Aufnahmevertiefung (15) des Auflagers (8) in den Verstellweg des Spaltwerkezuges (3) einragenden Abschnitt abspaltet.
