[origin: EP1834810A1] Hand embossing device comprises a tubular sleeve (19) formed as a handle surrounding a tubular housing (1) which slides along the axis of the housing and is pre-stressed in a base position, in which it closes a ventilating channel (17). The sleeve slides into a position releasing the ventilating channel against the force of a spring. Preferred Features: The sleeve is closed against the force of the spring in the direction of an embossing stamp (7). The device has a restoring spring (9) for an embossing stamp bolt (6) to drive the bolt into a position which closes a ventilating valve (14, 15).
