Abstract (en)
The lid has a clamping ring lying on the upper edge of the lid, which encompasses or overlaps the barrel aperture edge. A projection is designed at the lid and intervenes in a corresponding opening (6) in the clamping ring. Two opposite and elongated projections proceed in circumferential direction of the lid. The projections are provided on the cylinder barrel of the lid between the external flange and the upper edge of the lid, which intervene in the corresponding longitudinal slots of the clamping ring. An independent claim is also included for a clamping ring for a barrel lid.

Das Deckelfass weist einen Deckel und einen Spannring auf, wobei das Fass (14) einen Mantelflansch (13) und einen Fassmündungsrand (11) und der Deckel einen umlaufenden äußeren Wulst (8) mit U-förmigem, nach unten geöffneten Querschnitt hat, wobei der Wulst (8) eine Außenwand (21), einen oberen Rand (10) und eine Innenwand (16) aufweist, wobei der Deckel einen Außenflansch (12) aufweist, der im geschlossenen Zustand des Fasses (14) auf dessen Mantelflansch (13) aufliegt, wobei der Wulst (8) des Deckels im geschlossenen Zustand des Fasses (14) den Fassmündungsrand (11) umgreift oder übergreift und wobei der Spannring den Mantelflansch (13) des Fasses (14) und den Außenflansch (12) des Deckels umfasst. Da der Spannring auf dem oberen Rand (10) des Wulstes (8) aufliegt, welcher den Fassmündungsrand (11) umgreift oder übergreift, wird eine hohe Dichtigkeit und Stabilität großvolumiger Fässer bei erhöhtem Innendruck erreicht.
