Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1834912A2] Guiding device comprises a guiding surface (13) with nozzles (17) arranged on the guiding surface across the conveying direction (3) for guiding a sheet material in a suspended manner. A further nozzle (16) is assigned to each nozzle directly on each side edge (19) outside of the maximum format. Each further nozzle is coupled with a blowing air source and is arranged with a blowing opening in the guiding surface to produce a vertical blowing air stream. Preferred Features: The further nozzles are arranged flush over each other with the guiding surface in the conveying direction.
