Melt-spun thread comprises a thermoplastic and elastomeric polyester copolymer (I) containing repeating structural units, which are derived from different diols e.g. polyether diol; and a thermoplastic polyester copolymer (II) containing repeating structural units, which are derived from different dicarbonic acid or its polyester-forming derivatives. Independent claims are included for: (1) a procedure for the production of the thread comprising extruding a mixture containing (I) and (II) through a spin nozzle, withdrawing the formed filament, and optionally drawing and/or relaxing the formed filament; and (2) a planar textile structure, preferably fabric, comprising the threads.

Beschrieben werden schmelzgesponnene Fäden enthaltend a) ein thermoplastisches und elastomeres Polyester-Copolymer enthaltend wiederkehrende Struktureinheiten, die sich von unterschiedlichen Diolen ableiten, wovon eines ein Polyetherdiol ist und b) ein thermoplastisches Polyester-Copolymer enthaltend wiederkehrende Struktureinheiten, die sich von unterschiedlichen Dicarbonsäuren oder deren polyesterbildenden Derivaten ableiten. Die Fäden weisen eine ausgezeichnete Abriebbeständigkeit bei gleichzeitig hoher Formbeständigkeit auf, und lassen sich zur Herstellung von Sieben oder anderen technischen Geweben einsetzen.
