Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1835086A2] The brick has a thickness (DR) and clam-shell structure. An internal, statically carrying base element (2, 2') is provided and a mineral heat insulating unit (3) is provided at the front of the unit and joined to the base element. The base element is made of lime sandstone or manufactured from aerated concrete. The base element is provided at its vertical joint surfaces (4) with a vertically running groove and a spring shaping (7).
