A duct element (1) for installing electric and HPAC pipes and cables, like air ducts, water and sewage pipes and electric and data-communication cables in a multi-storey apartment block, said duct element forming a partition wall or a part of a partition wall of the multi-storey apartment block, wherein the duct element (1) comprises two or a plurality of grooves (2, 3, 4, 5) formed into one or more faces of the element for the installation of the electric and HPAC pipes and cables.
