[origin: EP1835113A2] The device has a stop unit that is connectable with a door inner plate (13), where the stop unit has a screw (5) that runs through the stop unit. The screw is connected with a window lifter-guide rail (2) in a movement-fixed manner. A nut (4) cooperates with the stop unit and stays in interference with the screw. The stop unit has an upper unit (6) and a lower unit (7), which are movable to each other at right angles to an X-Z plane that is stretched from the door inner plate, where the upper unit and the lower unit are fixable in their respective moving position. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting an assembly position of a window lifter-guide rail for a motor vehicle window in a frameless motor vehicle door.
