[origin: EP1835253A1] The heat exchanger has pipes and a collector pipe (1) communicates with the pipes, where collector pipe is formed as single piece. The collector pipe has a molded connecting piece (3) for connecting a connection flange. The collector pipe is formed as a cylindrical pipe, where the collector pipe has a passage (2) for receiving the pipes. The pipes are formed as flat pipes with tube ends, which are accommodated in the passage.
