The microwave oven has a cooking chamber (10), and coupling units (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22) for coupling microwaves in the cooking chamber. A set of sections (26, 28) accommodating a cooking goods carrier (24) are provided in the cooking chamber, where one of the coupling units is arranged between two adjacent sections. The coupling units include a blade antenna and coaxial cable. The coupling units are incorporated in carrier plates, which are formed from ceramics. An independent claim is also included for a cooking goods carrier inserted into two adjacent sections.

Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere einen Mikrowellenofen mit einem Garraum (10) und mit wenigstens einem Einkopplungsmittel (12-22) zum Einkoppeln von Mikrowellen in den Garraum (10). Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass in dem Garraum mehrere Ebenen zum Anordnen eines Gargutträgers vorgesehen sind, wobei wenigstens eines der Einkopplungsmittel zwischen zwei benachbarten Ebenen angeordnet ist.
