Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006074626A1] Disclosed is a ram (10) for a cartridge, which is used for expressing pasty substances (40). The cartridge is provided with an approximately cylindrical receptacle (30) or an approximately cylindrical chamber (160) which is closed by means of a bottom (34) at one end thereof while being open at the other end thereof. The ram (10) is elastic, is made of plastic, and can be slidingly disposed in the receptacle or chamber with an end wall (12) that faces the bottom of the receptacle or chamber and a closed wall (14). Two elastic plastic blades (16, 17) are embodied near the end wall (12) on the exterior face (15) of the wall (14) of the ram (10). The inventive ram (10) is characterized in that the more advanced (17) of the two blades (16, 17) in the direction of expression extends outward in a substantially curved manner and is provided with circumferential spaced-apart slots (54) while the rear blade (16) relative to the direction of expression extends outward essentially at an angle towards the end wall of the ram and forms a pocket (19) along with the more advanced blade (17).
