[origin: WO2006074706A1] The invention relates to a component (1, 4), in particular panel, which can be interconnected with at least one other component, said component having a tongue profiled edge (2) and/or groove profiled edge (3), at least sections of which can be engaged at least partially with a corresponding profiled edge of the other component. The invention also relates to a structural part comprising at least two interconnected components, in particular panels, in which a tongue profiled edge of one component engages with a corresponding groove profiled edge of the other component. The aim of the invention is to reduce the time and force required to lay the component. To achieve this, the tongue profiled edge and/or the groove profiled edge of the component is or are provided with a marking (5, 6).
