[origin: FR2878656A1] The cover has a body (1) with a metallic connection pin (3) having a portion covered with a sheath (6) including a circular cylindrical outer surface (13). The sheath extends in a housing (20) of the body delimited by a circular cylindrical wall (26). A central bump (24) defines a conical shoulder (25), on the outer surface, that forms a seat for an O-ring (30) arranged between the outer surface and the housing wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a gas injector cover.
