[origin: EP1837135A1] The device has a side slider for positioning a stack of printed sheets, and an adjusting device for presetting the position of the side slider. Hand wheels (15, 16) are provided for the adjusting device and are accessible from outside of a covering (28). The adjusting device has an adjusting carriage that is supported in a guide. Regulating shafts (17, 18) are actuated from outside of the covering and are manually drivable. A drive cylinder or drive motor is connected with the carriage or the regulating shafts.
