Abstract (en)
The device has two effective control circuits for regulating the ink flow from a storage reservoir and a temporary storage reservoir to the tip of a pen nib. The former control circuit is provided for refilling the temporary storage reservoir by means of an electronically controllable micro valve (32) disposed between the storage reservoir and the temporary storage reservoir. The latter control circuit is provided for adjusting the operational pressure at a writing insert by means of a pressure sensor (31) and a micro pump disposed in a main channel (8). The carrier is covered with a circuit board made of low temperature co-fired ceramic. The circuit board is at the same time carrier of the piezo-plate for the bi-directional micro pump. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling the ink flow at the tip of the pen nib.

Ein Tintenschreibgerät mit einem hülsenförmigen Stiftschaft, einem zur Aufnahme der Tinte dienenden Vorratsbehälter mit Belüftungsöffnung, einem Schreibeinsatz mit Schreibfeder, einem die Tinte zur Schreibfederspitze führenden Tintenleitsystem mit einem Zwischenspeicher, einer Mikropumpe, einem Ventil und einer Batterie oder Akku und einer elektronischen Regelung des Tintenflusses ist gekennzeichnet durch mindestens zwei wirksame Regelkreise zur Regulierung des Tintenflusses aus dem Vorratsbehälter (1) und aus dem Zwischenspeicher (6) bis an die Schreibfederspitze (10), wobei ein erster Regelkreis zum Nachfüllen des Zwischenspeichers (6) mit einem elektronisch steuerbaren Mikroventil (32) zwischen dem Vorratsbehälter (1) und dem Zwischenspeicher (6) und ein zweiter Regelkreis zur Einstellung des Betriebsdruckes am Schreibeinsatz (60) mittels Drucksensor (31) und mit mindestens einer Mikropumpe (34) im Hauptkanal (8) wirksam ist und dass der Zwischenspeicher (6) als Steuerkapillare für den zweiten Regelkreis ausgeführt ist und jeweils zwischen der Steuerkapillare (17) und Hauptkanal (8) Kapillarfallen (16) angeordnet sind. Das Verfahren beschreibt die Steuerung des Tintenflusses an der Schreibfederspitze.
