Abstract (en)
A textile processing machine (M/C) comprises a kier (2), which is arranged horizontally. A carrier (1) or a series of carriers (1) is receivable into the kier (2). The carrier includes structural means (8) for carrying textile material into the kier (2) and fluid flow penetration means (10) that allow fluid flow into the textile material to be carried. A flow reversal device (4), which is connectable to both the kier (2) and the carrier (1) controls flow of fluid through the kier (2), the carrier (1) and the textile material during processing.
