Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1837435A1] The iron (38) has an airflow distribution system diffusing an airflow at ambient temperature which passes through a plate (60) of the iron, where the plate is insulated by thermal insulation. The airflow distribution system is disposed transversely relative to the direction of motion of iron and in the rear side of the plate. A control unit controls the airflow in alternation with the production of the steam.
