The window or door unit has a wing with a window sash (2), where the wing is movable in particular tiltable or pivotable relative to a window frame (1). An automatic drive (3) opens and closes a window, and has a detachable coupling device for coupling the drive with the sash or the window frame. The coupling device is completely arranged in the movable sash, the fixed window frame or between the sash and the window frame. Ein Fenster- oder Türelement, insbesondere Kipp- oder Drehfenster, mit einem Blendrahmen (1); einem relativ zum Blendrahmen (1) beweglichen, insbesondere kipp- oder drehbaren, Flügel mit einem Flügelrahmen (2) und mit einem automatischen Antrieb (3) zumindest zum Öffnen und ggf. zum Schließen des Fensters, der im geschlossenen Zustand des Flügels verdeckt liegend im beweglichen Flügelrahmen (2), im Blendrahmen (1) oder zwischen diesen Elementen angeordnet ist und der mit einer lösbaren Kopplungseinrichtung zum Koppeln des Antriebs mit dem Blend- und/oder Flügelrahmen versehen ist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Kopplungseinrichtung vollständig verdeckt liegend im beweglichen Flügelrahmen (2), im festen Blendrahmen (1) oder zwischen diesen Elementen angeordnet ist und dass sie derart ausgelegt ist, dass sie von einem Ort außerhalb des Blend- oder Flügelrahmens (1,2) entkoppelbar ist, ohne den Blendrahmen (1) oder den Flügelrahmen (2) zu beschädigen.
