[origin: WO2006077120A1] Disclosed is a tool for inserting and/or removing a helically coiled wire insert, comprising a spindle member (4) that is provided with a driving section (16) for rotating the spindle member as well as an accommodating section (24) for the helically coiled insert (2). Furthermore, a low stop sleeve (8) is provided through which the spindle member (4) extends and which is mounted so as to be axially unmovable relative to the spindle member (4). An entraining blade (6) is tiltably mounted in a longitudinal groove (26) of the spindle member (4) by means of a blade bearing (28, 32) while being spring-biased in the direction of an engaging position in which the entraining blade (6) catches the helically coiled wire insert (2) located on the accommodating section (24).
