Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006077315A1] The invention relates to a multi-purpose aircraft comprising, on the one hand, at least one cockpit (1) equipped with at least one motor-driven propeller (3) capable of ensuring the displacement of this aircraft through the air and, on the other, at least one flexible wing (2) comprising an upper cloth or a flexible wall of the upper wing surface (4) and a lower cloth or a flexible wall of the underwing (5) delimiting, together, an inflatable volume (6) and defining, when deployed, a leading edge (9) and a trailing edge (16), characterized in that it is designed for allowing the functioning, concurrently or successively, of two different inflating systems. To this end, the aircraft comprises, on the one hand, a device or an arrangement enabling the insufflation of pressurized gas into the entire or only a portion of the inflatable volume (6) of the wing and, on the other, air inlet openings (12) distributed along the leading edge (9) of the wing and leading into the inflatable volume thereof for enabling the admission of air into the entire or only a portion of the inflatable volume when in flight.
