[origin: WO2006077000A1] The invention relates to an electrical component (1) comprising at least one electrical component unit (10, 20), at least one capacitance structure (100, 200), at least one induction structure (140, 240), and at least one electrical connection network (150, 250). The capacitance structure comprises an electrode (110, 210), at least one other electrode (120, 220), and at least one dielectric (130, 230) arranged between the electrodes; the induction structure comprises a magnetic core (141, 241) having a core inner region (142, 242) in which the capacitance structure is at least partially arranged; and the connection network has a defined connection configuration (151, 251) for the electrical contacting of the electrodes. The inventive component is characterised in that the connection configuration can be modified. The invention also relates to a method for modifying the component, according to which the connection configuration of the connection network is modified. The connection network, and thus the entire electrical component, are reconfigurable. Different electromagnetic functions can be performed or interconverted as a result of the invention, on the basis of a single component structure, by modifying the connection configuration.
