[origin: WO2006076892A1] The invention relates to a headset for a functional device (4) comprising: a signal interface (2, 122) for receiving and forwarding electric signals; a rigid retaining member (3), which can be bent and held in the bent position without a restoring force and which is connected to the signal interface (2, 122) for positioning a functional device (4) that is attached to said member; electric signal lines (14, 114, 124) in the retaining member (3) that run between the signal interface (2, 122) and the functional device (4); a fixing element (6) that can be placed on the retaining member (3) in various longitudinal positions to secure the latter and a rigid retaining clip (5), which can be bent into position and runs between the signal interface (2, 122) and the fixing element (6). According to the invention, the rear section of the retaining member (3), the signal interface (2, 122), the retaining clip (5) and the fixing element (6) form a loop (7), whose size can be adjusted by displacing the fixing element (6) along the retaining member (3). Said loop is held around the auricle (24), running at least partially behind the latter (24).
