Abstract (en)
Process for quality rolling of circular profiles, especially steel bars or wire, in a roll chain using a computer control system. Before starting production of the circular profile, a pattern of a profiled piece with typical true rolling errors in the static state is measured and the pattern error is stored in normalized form in the computer system. During production of the profile similarity analysis is carried out so that the normalized pattern cross-section can be correlated with the measured rolled profile.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Qualitätssicherung beim Walzen eines Rundprofils, insbesondere eines Stabes oder Drahtes aus Stahl in einer mehrgerüstigen, von einem übergeordneten Rechnersystem geteuerten und / oder geregelten Walzstraße. Um eine verbesserte Qualitätskontrolle zu erreichen, wird vor Beginn der Fertigung des Rundprofils mindestens ein Muster eines Profilstückes mit typischen, echten Walzfehlern im statischen Zustand vermessen und die Musterfehler werden in normierter Form im Rechnersystem abgespeichert, wobei ein einzelner Profilquerschnitt oder im Falle von Rauschen ein gemittelter Profilquerschnitt in Polarkoordination abgespeichert und normiert wird, und wird während der Fertigung des Rundprofils eine Ähnlichkeitsanalyse derart durchgeführt, daß der normierte Musterquerschnitt fortlaufend mit ermittelten Querschnitten des aktuell gewalzten Rundprofils korreliert wird, wonach beim Vergleich mit den Musterfehlern festgestellte Ähnlichkeitsabweichungen eine einen Eingriff in den Walzprozeß auslösende Warnfunktion auslösen.
