The piston (6) or the working cylinder (7) is firmly arranged at the upper crosshead (11) of the press frame (1) to the press table. The piston has a centrically arranged cylindrical extension (18) for the sliding guidance of a shaft (3), and the shaft is connected with the press plunger (2).
