[origin: EP1839856A2] The device has a roller bearer (06) which has rolls (8), and a deflection rod (07.1,07.2) is arranged between roller bearer and printing unit (01). The deflection rod has 45[deg] of angle in feeding direction (T1) of the web (03). Multiple printing units are arranged in a machine escape (m), and the roller bearer is arranged laterally apart from the machine escape. The longitudinal axis (L) proceeds the deflection rod in a vertical plane.
