Abstract (en)
The device has a printing station (3) with digitally controlled color application elements. The printing station and a measurement station (4) are connected upstream, which with the contour sensors takes the outline data of the workpiece (1) and works together with the printing control (12) so that the pixels lying outside of the contour of the workpiece of the decoration picture are not printed, while the remaining pixels remain uninfluenced. The transport equipment (2) for transporting the workpieces and a printing control for printing digital decoration graphic data is provided.

Vorrichtung zum Drucken von Dekorbildern auf flächige Werkstücke, umfassend eine Druckstation 3 mit digital angesteuerten Farbauftragselementen, eine Transporteinrichtung 2 zum Transportieren der Werkstücke 1 durch die Druckstation 3, und eine Drucksteuerung 12, die mit einem digitalen Bilddatenspeicher 11 zusammenwirkt und die Farbauftragselemente zum Drucken von digitalen Dekorbild-Daten aus dem Bilddatenspeicher 11 als Bildpunkte auf das Werkstück 1 digital ansteuert. Der Druckstation 3 ist eine Vermessungsstation 4 vorgeschaltet, die mittels Kontursensoren 10 Konturdaten des Werkstücks 1 aufnimmt und mit der Drucksteuerung 12 derart zusammenwirkt, dass außerhalb der Kontur 7 des Werkstücks 1 liegende Bildpunkte des Dekorbildes nicht gedruckt werden, während die restlichen Bildpunkte unbeeinflusst bleiben.
