Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1840059A1] The device has a separating device (2) for separating sheets (7) of a sheet pile (5), where the sheets are accelerated at a speed. A delay device (4) reduces speed of the sheets from the former speed to another speed during feeding of the sheets in a delivery direction from the separating device to another sheet pile (6). An overlapping device (3) downstream to the separating device partially overlaps the sheets and is designed for generation of a scaled stream e.g. shingled stream, of the separate sheets. A control unit (27) controls the devices and is connected with a counting device. An independent claim is also included for a method for delivery of sheets e.g. paper sheet, from a sheet pile to another sheet pile.
