The transport device for sharp band knife for splitting machine (14), comprises a housing element (22), two holding elements (24, 26) which are formed for engaging in recesses of the band knife, and a clamping element (44) for intake of the knife within the housing element under tension. The holding elements operate together with a pair of recess for holding the knife respectively, are led into the recess of the housing elements respectively, and are accomplished as elongated rod-shape. The holding elements in the housing element are led essentially parallel to each other. The transport device for sharp band knife for splitting machine (14), comprises a housing element (22), two holding elements (24, 26) which are formed for engaging in recesses of the band knife, and a clamping element (44) for intake of the knife within the housing element under tension. The holding elements operate together with a pair of recess for holding the knife respectively, are led into the recess of the housing elements respectively, and are accomplished as elongated rod-shape. The holding elements in the housing element are led essentially parallel to each other. The band knife in the transportable state is held only at the recesses of the band knife by means of the holding elements, without affecting the housing element. The holding elements at their ends of the band knife exhibit a circumferential groove engaging at the recesses respectively. The clamping element is formed for shifting the holding elements parallel to each other and as pivotable clamp with a handhold part and a lever part. The housing element exhibits a base element and a wall element and is used in band knife lockable by means of housing cover. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for disassembly of a sharp band knife; and (2) a method for assembly of a sharp band knife.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Transportvorrichtung (10) für ein Bandmesser (12) für eine Spaltmaschine (14), mit einem Gehäuseelement (22) und mindestens zwei Halteelementen (24, 26), die für ein Eingreifen in Ausnehmungen (66) des Bandmessers (12) ausgebildet sind. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner Verfahren zum sicheren Montieren und Demontieren eines Randmessers (12), insbesondere eines scharfen Bandmessers (12). Da das Bandmesser (12) Ausnehmungen (66) zur Aufnahme von Halteelementen (24, 26) aufweist, ist es nun möglich, das Bandmesser (12) zu halten, indem an den Ausnehmungen (66) Halteelemente (24, 26) eingreifen oder eingeführt werden. Wird das Bandmesser (12) auf der Spaltmaschine (14) gelöst, so wird eine Halterung des Bandmessers (12) durch die an den Ausnehmungen (66) eingreifenden Halteelemente (24, 26) gewährleistet. Das Bandmesser (12) kann so von der Spaltmaschine (14) abgenommen werden, ohne dass das Bandmesser (12) selbst, insbesondere nicht die Schneidkante (64), berührt werden muss (Figur 1).
