[origin: EP1840260A2] A paper mill (10) produces a wet web (12) of paper or cardboard that feeds first to a press (14) followed by a high-power drying station (16) and a glazing press (18). The three stations (14, 16, 18) form an integrated unit. On arrival at the glazing station (18) the web dry matter content is less than 65%. Further claimed is a transfer belt employed within the high-power drying station.
