Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1840276A2] The connecting device has a quick change device (3) fastened to an excavator boom, and an extension plate (5) fastened to an extension device. Hydraulic couplings (20, 40) are provided to connect hydraulic lines (15), coming from an excavator, with hydraulic lines (16) guided to a hydraulic motor in the extension device. The hydraulic couplings are coupled with bars (7), which are moved in the connecting device. The hydraulic couplings are activated when the extension plate is fixed to the quick change device connected with the excavator boom.
