Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1840304A2] Lock for pivot rods on e.g. truck tailgates has a locking lever (9) which pulls the rod towards a base plate (10) mounted on the truck. It is then locked in place by depressing a first latch (18) which operates a first catch (21) and a second catch on the same pivot (23) which moves a lever (25) to operate a second catch (22).
