The pump has a free flow impeller wheel rotatably mounted in a housing and a blade-free chamber (7) between the impeller wheel and a housing wall (6) on the suction side and a device for preventing flow breakaway. At least one flow-influencing arrangement (10) with one or more parts is provided on the suction side housing wall to protrude into the blade-free chamber opposite the impeller wheel blades (4).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kreiselpumpe mit einem in einem Gehäuse rotierend angeordneten Freistromlaufrad, wobei zwischen einer saugseitigen Gehäusewand und dem Freistromlaufrad ein schaufelloser Raum angeordnet ist und die Pumpe mit einer Einrichtung zur Vermeidung des Abreißens der Strömung versehen ist. Gegenüberliegend zu den Laufradschaufeln (4) und an der saugseitigen Gehäusewand (6) ist mindestens ein, in den schaufellosen Raum (7) vorstehendes, ein- oder mehrteiliges, strömungsbeeinflussendes Mittel (10, 17, 20, 26) angeordnet (Fig. 1).
