[origin: EP1840451A2] The invention relates to a lamppost comprising a mast, an anchoring base (1) and a luminaire (3). The anchoring base (1) has a ring-shaped wall (11) extending in an oblique frustoconical tubular body (12) with an elliptical section, inclined towards the rear side of the lamppost. The mast comprises a tubular and cylindrical main body (2a) formed by a straight lower section (21) inclined towards the rear area, an intermediate section (22) curved towards the front-rear area, and a straight upper section (23) which is oriented upwards, fully surpassing the vertical projection of the anchoring base. The luminaire (3) comprises a collapsible upper cover (33) and a lower body (31) provided with: a tightening clamp (32) for the fixing thereof to the main body (2a), two lower cavities (35) open at the upper and lower parts, and fastening bushings (36) for fastening the lighting units (36).
