[origin: WO2006077190A1] The invention relates to a filter assembly, especially a particulate filter (7) assembly in a vacuum cleaner (1) comprising an electric motor (6) that is provided with a suction end (S) and a blowing end (B). A receiving chamber (8) for the particulate filter (7) is disposed at the blowing end (B) of the particulate filter (7), said particulate filter (7) being equipped with a filter frame. In order to create an improved assembly comprising a filter replacement system which is independent of a level measurement, an actuating bracket (13) is embodied on the filter frame while said actuating bracket (13) resets a running time meter when the filter (7) is inserted into the receiving chamber (8).
