[origin: DE102005003874A1] The roller bearing has a guide carriage (2) which is mounted to roll along a guide rail (1) and a scraper (3) which is located on an end face of the guide carriage for scraping foreign bodies such as filings, dust and coolant residues from the guide rail. The scraper together with an attachment (16) such as a sealing lip (16a) or sealing edge, lies in contact with the guide rail. The scraper has a housing (17) which holds alternatively one or more plate-type removable seals (18). The seal is provided with the scraper attachment.
